Creative Niche Designs and Crafts a local based souvenir shop in Butuan City, Caraga Region that specializes in making discarded things out of oyster shells and other indigenous materials into beautiful creations as souvenirs and gift items. Surely these handmade and collector's items can catch your attention and heart. At the same time, Creative Niche Designs and Crafts are advocacy products that promotes eco-friendly materials, and helps the community specially the children in a creative way of mixing modern Filipino craftsmanship. As such, it gives off a natural theme both inside and out.
Furthermore, they have products called "Borloloys" (fashion accessories in local dialect) that are very attractive and made from creative materials. As such, they give off the best quality coming from the environment and naturally it helps us produce less garbage in the environment.
Creative Niche is also involve in helping the community by providing livelihood opportunities especially for the out- of-school youth (OSY) and less privileged children from the barrios. Almost all of the proceeds of Creative Niche is spent for providing for community service on a weekly basis.
By this approach the young people are given a chance to have something to be proud of because they are not only encouraged to be creative but productive as well even in their own little ways. Instead of wasting time, they can now learn how to be creative entrepreneurs but will be productive citizens in the future.
